I’ve just found a very innovative and helpful tool online called a time bank. For every hour that you spend helping someone else out in your community, you actually earn a “time dollar”, which can be used to have someone else in the Time-Bank community to do something for you. What a fantastic idea.

Andy, I’d love to see FIs take up a service like this. I could see it being somewhat difficult to start and getting member involvement, but I would think that it would hold its own once it took off. This is a fantastic service, and I’m really glad it exists. I hope it catches on!
