Thinking back to BarCampBankDallas in meeting the folks from San Francisco Fire CU and also reading this article from BankerVision, I wanted to know if the company you work for has an innovation team?
If so, how do their ideas play out internally? Do they work with other departments in developing ideas, or do they work separately?
Any discussion about innovation teams are welcome for this question.

I guess you could say we have an Innovation team of sorts. We have an Internal Marketing Committee where we discuss new ideas for the credit union. It is made up of people from nearly every department so there is a great deal of collaboration around the entire credit union.
I firmly believe that the entire staff of an institution should be considered an Innovation Team. You just have to give the people who want to a venue to collaborate.

We have an innovation team who develops ideas coming from all departments of our group. An innovation competition take place for the moment. Innovation team will take the best ideas and realize them. An incentive is given to the bests. This is a form of big brainstorming with more than 25.000 people around the world !
